Dr. Deborah Dyett Desir |  | | Dr.Desir founded the Practice in 1993. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry, (Cum Laude) from Harvard University in 1976 and her M.D., from Yale University School of Medicine (Cum Laude) in 1980. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and awarded the John P. Peters Prize for an Outstanding Thesis by the Yale Department of Medicine.
In 1983, she completed a three-year residency program in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship, section of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, in 1986.
Dr. Desir has been a practicing Rheumatologist in the New Haven area since 1987. She is an Attending Physician at Yale New Haven Hospital and the Hospital of St. Raphael's, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine.
